NextPlans Data Center
Our location is a secure carrier-grade co-location facility equipped with ultra reliable connectivity, multiple high-speed fiber networks, and the latest in physical and digital security to service and protect customers’ online initiatives.
We have secure twenty-four-hours a day access to our equipment. This enables us to maintain complete control of our hardware without having to manage the physical plant associated with a data center environment.
Our servers are redundant and we backup database information on a nightly schedule both on site and off-site. Our networks within the data center are protected by hardware Cisco PIX firewalls. All servers are managed for software security updates and virus protection.
NextPlans SSL (Secure Socket Layer)
A protocol developed by Netscape for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL works by using a public key to encrypt data that's transferred over the SSL connection. Both Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer support SSL, and many Web sites use the protocol to safely transmit confidential information, such as credit card numbers.
